Saragur, the place where we are headquartered, is well connected by road to the nearest town Mysore, which is about 60 km away.
Government buses to Saragur from Mysore start from Platform No.7 of the Suburban Bus Station. The normal travel time is around 1 ½ - 2 hrs. Alight at the Saragur bus stand and take a three-wheeler (auto) for a 10-minute ride to Vivekananda Memorial Hospital.
If you are driving down, take the Mysore – Manandavadi road (H.D.Kote road). The prominent landmarks along the route are the Mysore Silk Factory & the National Institute of Engineering. After about an hour of travel, you reach a junction named Hand Post. Turn left and proceed to Saragur. At the Saragur bus stand, ask for directions to Vivekananda Memorial Hospital, in case you miss the signboard there. Saragur is just off the Mysore – Manandavadi state highway.
The nearest railway station is at Mysore. The nearest domestic airport too is at Mysore, but it has a very limited no. of flights at present. The nearest international airport and the hub for all domestic flights is at Bangalore, at a distance of about 250 km from Saragur. Bangalore and Mysore are well connected by both public and private transport, with a travel time of around 3 hours.
