We have always strived to ensure that our activities have a positive environmental impact. We are constantly endeavouring to use alternate energy sources in all our campuses, and produce close to 20 KW of solar power, which is used for lighting, charging UPS, running water pumps and electrifying fences. Energy-efficient stoves in our hostels have reduced fuel consumption by almost 40%. We also follow the universal standards for managing hospital-generated waste.
campuses have adopted Decentralized Wastewater Treatment Systems (DEWATS). The effluent from the treatment plants is being used for organic farming purpose.
We maintain our fleet of vehicles well and have tried to maximize their usage to reduce fuel consumption. We harvest rain water in most of our campuses. We also promote and advocate organic and sustainable farming practices.
