By being locally present, we closely work with our community partners

Our institutions are the backbone of our development interventions.

SVYM is directly serving the rural and tribal communities through its institutions to accelerate the development of these communities through equitable and accessible healthcare, education and socio-economic empowerment.

SVYM’s Institutions operate with a multipronged development approach.
Firstly, the institutions compliment our community based programs through a hub-and-spoke design, ensuring seamless delivery of service over a desired time span. Secondly, the institutions participate in development of the local communities through a phased approach, at first providing, then provisioning and finally partnering, each phase leading to a greater role of the community in its own development. Thirdly, our institutions are knowledge centres and a platform for human talent from diverse fields to engage in academic learning, research, volunteering and social service, also creating employment opportunities for our community partners.

From being a field lab for rural healthcare research initiatives to being a demonstration site for scalable pilot models of women entrepreneurship, SVYM’s institutions are a standing testimony to our vision of building human and social capital through a grassroot to policy level approach and the long term support of our well wishers and partners in achieving this dream.
