As we reflect on the year gone by, we think of the many journeys that began within homes and made their way towards new horizons. Each family we met held within it a world of possibilities.
We witnessed individuals setting out to build their lives and, in doing so, paving the way for their families and communities too. Across these interconnected journeys, with every step, our conviction in building the human and social capital for community-led change found many new homes. And with them, the SVYM family continues to grow.
We still vividly remember our early days, when we would knock on unfamiliar doors seeking support for SVYM. Behind some of those doors, we found families who welcomed us, believed in us and chose to walk with us. What began with a simple act of trust grew into enduring bonds that continue to this day.
In much the same way, many organisations that have walked alongside us over the years have become more than partners. Through relationships built on shared purpose and enduring trust, we have come to regard them too as part of the SVYM family.
This year’s Annual Report celebrates the potential of the many families we have had the privilege of walking alongside, towards a shared vision of building a resurgent India.
